How to get here

It’s been more than a decade since the iconic General Motors’ Opel Antwerpen car assembly factory fell silent. But now, the wheels of excitement are turning once again on this historic Noorderlaan site.

A multi-Activity center worthy of its name also offers a multitude of possibilities to reach it. You can easily get here by car or using multiple modes of public transport.

WATERBUS

The Waterbus is a public transport service on the
Schelde linking Hemiksem and Lillo.

Experience Factory is 15min by bike from the
Steenplein boarding point.
Bicycles are free of charge on the waterbus.

TRAM & BUS

Directly opposite the building you'll find over
8 public transport lines provided by DeLijn at
the “Antwerpen Luchtbal Kerk” stop.

No matter where you're coming from,
you'll find the line that's just right for you.
  • Tram : 1 & 6
  • Bus : 70, 72, 641, 719, X70 and X71

TRAIN

The nearest train station is "Antwerpen Luchtbal."
From the station, it's a 17-minute walk or a 5-minute bike ride to Experience Factory.

There are many shared bike solutions available from the train station.
The route between the train station and Experience Factory is almost entirely car-free.

The Antwerpen-Luchtbal station is served by the following lines (in both directions)
at a frequency of one train per hour:
  • S Puurs – Antwerpen – Essen – Roosendaal (NL) trough Antwerpen-Centraal
  • IC Essen – Antwerpen – Mechelen – Brussels – Charleroi-Centraal  > Only on weekdays
  • S Antwerpen – Noorderkempen > Only on weekdays

CAR

Experience Factory Eupen is located
outside the Low Emission Zone (LEZ),
so there's no need to worry about restrictions.
Over 200 free parking spaces are available on site.

No matter where you're coming from, highway access is immediate,
with the nearest exit (Exit 1 - Merksem E19) less than 5 minutes away.
